George is the face of all things BlackDog. Born June19, 2012, he is the senior classman of the crew. He’s tough but fair, and always greets visitors with a smile and a can-do attitude. The ultimate dog’s dog, and certainly Man’s Best Friend.

George passed this year, after a long happy life. He travelled with Danny from Atlanta back to California in 2013, and lived more than half of his life on the farm. We love you and we miss you George!!

RIP George  6.19.2012 – 8.6.2024

Sadie came to the farm on Black Friday, 2018. George was a bit lonely while I was working long hours, and so we searched for the right companion. She is our resident Head of Security- ready to alert at a moment's notice to anything... a car passing by, a bird flying over head, even an airplane that look suspiciously low or slow. New visitors can expect lots of barking until Sadie calms down, but once she does, she is a sweetheart, through and through. She is a good girl, and we are glad to have her!

Garvey is the newest member of the BlackDog team, and he's a great BIG part of the family. He's even created his own job for himself, "Head of Slobber-Management." He's quite good at it, so we'll just leave that whole area to him. At about 140 pounds (as of 8.18.2024, at 11 months old), he's a big love, ready for a cuddle anytime you want to give one.

Luna is the non-resident part of our crew. She comes to visit on weekends and during special events, usually with my mom in-tow. Born 6.8.2020, she is always a friendly face to everyone - which is why she's our Head of Public Relations! She's also one heck of a lizard chaser, and good for a cuddle during TV time, too.
